Laura I just found the comments by a Marc Moccia. if his ancestors are from Castelvetere Su Calore, Province of Avellino, than we have a link. Recently i have been tracing my Pagliuca- Tosto ancestors from Castelpagano and Colle Sannita Italy in the US and found that they moved around a lot by reading a 1900 and 1910 census, a death certificate , and a ship passenger list. My grandfather Giuseppe Lero was said to be the son of a man named Di Napoli, in Potenza. He was born 1884-5. The mothers name I don't know yet, but it was not Di Napoli's wife. Where the name Lero or Lara came from I don't know. He came to the U.S.A. around 1906 with his wife following with their two girls in 1907? The wife's name was Rosa Bulfaro.

Hi! My fathers family is from Muro Lucano. I'm told that an American citizen can obtain Italian citizenship if he/she can prove his lineage to grandparents from Italy. Do you have any suggestions of tracing the name Zariello or Carbornara from Muro Lucano?

Hello! I am finding out a lot about my family and have had some great success stories too. We even had a re(union) with my mother's first cousins in Italy and I think it was successful thanks to one of your relatives. We traveled to Scanno and asked a woman in the tourism bureau if she recognized any of the names on a list we had. One of the names was FUSCO. She said that this was her aunt and that her aunt and my grandmother were best friends. She then showed us where we could find my mother's 1st cousin and it was the MOST wonderful experience!!!
